Founding testers

25 outside builders run PerpBrain on paper and simulation through November, ahead of the public launch on 1 Dec 2026. Setup takes about 15 minutes and needs no API key, exchange key, wallet or seed phrase.

The ask

• Two weeks of paper and simulation runs through your own agent.
• Two short feedback forms: about 5 minutes at the end of week 1 and 8 minutes at the end of week 2.
• In exchange: early access, a vote on the roadmap and, if you want it, public credit.

1 · Clone and install (Node 22.6+)

Note the path pwd prints. Below it is REPO_ROOT. On Node 20 or older, or Node 22.0–22.5, the examples stop with bad option: --experimental-strip-types.

2 · Connect Claude Desktop, Cursor or Cline

Add this server block to claude_desktop_config.json (Claude Desktop), Cursor Settings → MCP, or cline_mcp_settings.json (Cline). No secrets:

Restart the client. It should list perpbrain with 12 tools. Live reads use the public Hyperliquid /info endpoint only.

3 · First sim

The looser leverage is blocked before a fill is recorded. Owner limits are limits you set; losses are still possible.
