The PerpBrain MCP server and SDKs are released under the MIT Licence. Copyright (c) 2026 [LEGAL ENTITY NAME].
The MIT Licence lets you use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell copies of the software, provided the copyright notice and permission notice are included in all copies or substantial portions.
No warranty
As the MIT Licence states, the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In no event are the authors or copyright holders liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the software or its use.
Running it yourself
When you self-host PerpBrain, you are the operator. You choose the strategies, credentials, venues and limits, and you are responsible for compliance where you operate. Forks and modified versions are not ours; do not present them as official PerpBrain releases.
Trademarks
The MIT Licence covers code, not the PerpBrain name or logo. You may say your project "works with PerpBrain" or "is built on PerpBrain". Do not use the name or logo in a way that implies we endorse your project, product or trading results.
Third-party components
PerpBrain depends on third-party open-source packages under their own licences (for example MIT, BSD and Apache-2.0). The full list is in each release's dependency manifest and the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file in the repository [ADD FILE TO REPO WHEN APPROVED].
Contributions
Unless you state otherwise, contributions you submit are licensed under the MIT Licence. [Optional: adopt a Developer Certificate of Origin sign-off.]
