How PerpBrain compares
Many good tools work with Hyperliquid. PerpBrain does three things we found nowhere else together: it prices a trade's full cost before it is placed, it hands back a receipt anyone can rerun, and it needs no keys and holds no funds. The SDK, simulator, receipts and paper trading are free and MIT-licensed. Most people will use it alongside one of the tools below.
What PerpBrain adds
- Receipts anyone can re-verify. Each simulated result is hashed with its inputs and can be rerun by a third party. A tampered receipt fails. See Verify a receipt.
- Costs priced before the trade. Agents get fees, book-walk slippage and hourly funding over MCP, for the size they plan to send. See Cost breakdown.
- Keyless, no custody. Data, simulation and receipts run with no wallet or API key.
- Limits you set. Owner limits your agent can tighten but never raise. Limits you set; losses are still possible. See Owner limits.

| NautilusTrader | Rust/Python trading engine | Not listed | Yes | Deterministic event-driven sim | Not listed | 0% (attribution only) |
"Not listed" means we found no mention of it in the linked docs. It does not mean the feature is missing. Fees are builder fees charged on top of Hyperliquid's own exchange fee, which is the same whichever tool you use.
PerpBrain's price
Research, simulation, receipts and paper trading are free. Live orders through PerpBrain's guarded route cost from 0.01% on live orders, falling to 0.005% on a wallet's volume above $5M in a calendar month (UTC), on top of Hyperliquid's exchange fee. One price for everyone. You approve 0.01% once, on-chain, and can revoke it any time. No fee on refused or unfilled orders.
That is as low as the lowest fee of any paid AI-agent or guarded Hyperliquid route we checked; some open-source tools charge 0% (sources in the table above, checked 17 Oct 2026). Founding testers have their own terms: see Founding testers.
What PerpBrain does not do (yet)
- It does not place orders yet. The guarded live route is planned with mainnet from 1 Dec 2026; until then, use an execution tool like the ones above.
- It does not model queue position or liquidation. Each receipt lists what is not modelled.
- It covers Hyperliquid perps only, with a TypeScript SDK.
- It is new, so far fewer people have used it than the established frameworks above.
